Grails plugin for safari development on the iPhone
I'm pleased to announce the release of the iwebkit plugin 0.2 .
This plugin provides integration with iWebkit (iwebkit.net), a powerful User Interface Library for Safari development on iPhone. Iwebkit is the challenger of the famous iUi safari kit but it is very promising. By using this plugin, you will have an iphone web app skeleton (CSS,images and javascript) with an iphone layout but also a tag library helping in creating iphone web pages in an easy, clean and fast way.
Check out this screencast to have a first impression (sorry for the bad image quality, I have to improve my encoding skills and also buy a less noisy keyboard ) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcFDivCputQ
Documentation can be found at the usual location : http://www.grails.org/iwebkit+Plugin
next release will provide more tags , orientation detection support and much more …
